Terms and Conditions
Simple terms for using Cult Archive.
Last updated: July 17, 2026
1. What Cult Archive is
Cult Archive is an informational skincare product research site. It organizes public product information, ingredient signals, reviews, filters, and source-derived notes to help visitors compare products.
2. Not medical advice
Cult Archive does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or personalized skincare instructions. Product information, pregnancy-related screens, ingredient notes, filters, pros, and cons are educational only. Always read the product label and consult a qualified professional for medical conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies, or ingredient restrictions.
3. Product information may change
Skincare formulas, product names, prices, retailers, images, availability, and regional labels can change. Cult Archive aims to be useful and careful, but it cannot guarantee that every page is complete, current, or error-free.
4. Third-party links and retailers
Cult Archive may link to brand, retailer, marketplace, or other third-party pages. Those sites are controlled by their own operators, not Cult Archive. If you buy a product through a third-party site, the purchase is between you and that third party.
5. Affiliate disclosure
Some links may be affiliate links. If an affiliate link is used, Cult Archive may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships should not determine product ratings, filters, or editorial treatment.
6. No accounts or purchases on Cult Archive
Cult Archive currently does not offer user accounts, checkout, or purchases directly on the site. The email signup form stores only a consented subscriber email and minimal signup metadata for Cult Archive updates. Subscribers can request removal at hello@cultarchive.com.
7. Public catalog API
Cult Archive may publish read-only, machine-readable product data at endpoints such as /api/v1/products, /api/v1/taxonomy, and /api/v1/schema. These endpoints expose public product fields only and intentionally exclude private operational fields, credentials, and subscriber data. Use them respectfully, keep attribution to Cult Archive and the canonical product URL when republishing, and do not bypass rate limits, cache controls, or anti-abuse protections.
8. Use the site responsibly
Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, scrape it in a way that harms availability, bypass rate limits or abuse controls, or present Cult Archive content as medical, legal, or professional advice.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated as the site changes. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about data handling are covered on the Privacy Policy. For methodology, see About Cult Archive.
